I’d include the Colbert-area parks and a trip toward Hatch Road while you’re exploring. A few familiar stops can make it easier to picture the neighborhood as home rather than another pin on a map.
- Midway Market: groceries at 16221 N Hatch Road.
- Northside Family Aquatics: seasonal public swimming at Bidwell Park. Check reservations and season dates.
- Pine River Community Park: playground, picnic space, and a river swim beach without a lifeguard.
Finding Your Kind of Home
The homes here give you different layouts to consider. Think about where you want bedrooms, how you would use a lower level, and how much outdoor space sounds enjoyable. An extra room is most useful when you have a better plan for it than storing the boxes you never unpacked.
Published Summerwood examples include a 1993 two-story home on about one acre and a 1997 ranch-style home on Bridle Trail Road. The different layouts make bedroom placement, stairs, basement use, and outdoor maintenance useful comparison points. These examples do not imply that every Summerwood property has acreage.
