If you are looking for things to do in Spokane this weekend, Saturday offers a good mix of art, fall harvest activities, community gatherings, hockey, live music, and an outdoor walk. The list also reaches into Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Green Bluff, and Coeur d’Alene, so there are practical choices on both sides of the state line.
This is one of those weekends when choosing one daytime activity and one evening event probably works better than trying to cross the region twice. The MAC, Walter’s Fruit Ranch, and Tubbs Hill are daytime options. The art auction, fundraiser, hockey game, and symphony program take over in the evening.
Clearly Indigenous Opens at the MAC
Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass opens Saturday at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture. The exhibition brings together more than 120 works by 33 Indigenous artists from North America, Australia, and New Zealand, alongside work by Dale Chihuly.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2316 W. First Ave. in Spokane. Regular admission applies, and current discounts and library-pass options are listed on the museum’s visitor page.

Walter’s Fruit Ranch Fall Festival at Green Bluff
Walter’s Fruit Ranch continues its fall festival season at Green Bluff. The organizer lists a corn maze, corn cannon, barnyard play area, live music, food, cider, and apple and pumpkin picking among the seasonal activities.
Hours, crop availability, and individual activities can change with the weather and the stage of the harvest. Check the ranch listing before making the drive, particularly if one activity is the main reason for your visit.

Walk Tubbs Hill in Coeur d’Alene
Tubbs Hill Natural Area offers a quieter option in Coeur d’Alene. The 165-acre park includes a 2.2-mile perimeter trail along Lake Coeur d’Alene, with pine forest, granite outcrops, and lake views. The west trailhead is near the southwest corner of McEuen Park.
Trail conditions can be uneven, so wear suitable shoes and allow extra time if the ground is wet. Fall daylight also disappears quickly, which makes this a better daytime stop than a late addition after dinner.

Planning Your Saturday
My practical approach would be to choose one daytime anchor, then one evening event close to where you plan to finish the day. A Green Bluff trip followed by downtown Spokane is workable. Tubbs Hill followed by a Spokane evening event is a longer cross-region day, especially once fall traffic and early darkness enter the equation.
Before heading out, confirm tickets, registration, hours, parking, weather, availability, and last-minute schedule changes with the organizer. For more local guides, visit Living in Spokane and North Idaho.
